DAYS 1-2Welcome to Britain
Following a meet and greet with your friendly local guide, it’s time for your first taste of London!Away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, explore London by boat, cruising past the many world famous landmarks that line the banks of the River Thames including Tower Bridge and The Houses of Parliament. Head over to the Tower of London, home to the Crown Jewels and over a thousand years of fascinating history.Visit the John F. Kennedy Memorial at Runnymede. It was here in 1215, that King John sealed the Magna Carta. As you may remember from history class, the Magna Carta forms the basis of England’s present constitution.
DAY 3The Best of London
During an in-depth tour of the very best of London, discover what the city has to offer from a professional guide, and then watch the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. For lunch, tuck into Britain’s most famous dish – fish ‘n’ chips!Join a drama workshop lesson on the works of the most celebrated playwright of all time. Spend the evening soaring above the city’s skyline on the Coca-Cola London Eye.
DAY 4Political and Cultural Leaders of Britain
In an exclusive People to People moment, meet and ask your own questions to a Former Member of the British Parliament for a fascinating discussion, including the impact of Brexit on UK politics. For a further exploration of the impacts of history and politics on modern Britain, explore London’s celebrated museum quarter.Following lunch, study alongside talented peers from the school that produced the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse and Jessie J. Hit the town in the evening for a pre-theater dinner before taking in a West End Show, the British equivalent of Broadway. It really will be a night to remember!
DAY 5Myths and Magic
Step onto authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the behind the scenes secrets of the Harry Potter series at the Warner Bros. Kick off an action packed two days by discovering the origins of Shakespeare, in his home town of Stratford-upon-Avon.

DAY 9Picture Perfect
Get a real feel for British produce and past-times in the picturesque city of Oxford. Home to the famous university, ancient landmarks and stunning scenery, this really is what you imagine when you think of England’s rolling hills, countryside and picture perfect buildings.Tour an iconic British car factory, climb the Carfax Tower for incredible views of the city and pretend to be a British student for the day as you punt on the river and enjoy a quintessential afternoon tea. You’ll even see where parts of the Harry Potter were filmed as you explore around Oxford. Today will be a fantastic day to pick up mementos for your family and friends back home, whilst also grabbing a famous Oxford University sweater as a reminder of your travels.
DAY 10Romans and Stonehenge
Explore the Roman town of Bath’s hidden gems during a tour inside the historic spa, a beautifully preserved Roman site once used for public bathing and socialising.Spend the afternoon snapping selfies at the iconic prehistoric monuments at Stonehenge. This could be the ultimate photo opportunity of the summer, as well as a fascinating insight into one of the region’s oldest monuments, still shrouded in mystery.
DAYS 11-13Action and Adventure
After hopping on a ferry and crossing The Solent with your new friends, now it’s time to begin your three day, hands on adventure.
During these action packed few days, experience the very best watersport activities at the UKSA, home of the Admiral’s Cup. Whether you want to try a team raft building challenge, kayaking, windsurfing or sailing you won’t be disappointed with the choice of sports available or the enthusiasm and knowledge of our fully-qualified instructors.Prepare yourself for your overnight ferry to France. Make sure you have brushed up on your French language and have the currency of mainland Europe – the Euro.
DAY 14In the Footsteps of Heroes
Walk in the footsteps of the brave soldiers of WWII, at the Memorial de Caen site and Omaha Beach at Normandy. Enhance your understanding of the causes and origins of war as you discover how you can contribute to achieving a peaceful future, a theme at the very heart of People to People.Following a reflective picnic lunch, pay your respects during an official ceremony at the American cemetery above Omaha Beach, the landing site for so many on June 6th 1944
DAY 15Palace of Versailles
Do as the French do… There’s no time to waste, as we use the time spent travelling to Paris to master a few key French phrases, you’ll be fluent in no time!Explore the extravagance of the Palace of Versailles, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including a tour of the famous Hall of Mirrors. The lavish style of the palace is truly a site to behold. Marvelling at the gardens and architecture of this magnificent building is truly breath-taking. Spend the evening in the very heart of Paris, seeing the City of Lights in all its glory.
DAY 16The City of Lights
Discover Paris during a specially arranged, expert orientation of the city. Take in the sights and sounds of the world renowned Champs Elysee, Arc de Triomphe and of course Notre Dame Cathedral. Explore the wealth of art and priceless artifacts on show in the World’s most famous museum, the Louvre, home to the Mona Lisa.Following a delicious French dinner, head over to the Eiffel Tower and its spectacular light show for a truly breath-taking display (and a fantastic photo opportunity) before settling down for the night in your Parisian Hotel. Experience French cuisine with a tasting of escargot and frogs legs, and discover the delights of this local delicacy.
DAY 17French Indulgences
Indulge in celebrated French cuisine, revered the world over. Hone your skills with a masterclass from a French patisserie chef, before trying out your creations and returning home with a new found confidence and expertise.During the afternoon, meet with the artist Henri Landier for a fascinating insight into the celebrated world of Parisian art.
