Day 1

Arrive into JFK where you’ll be met by your leaders and the rest of your delegation.  Head into the city, check into your hotel and attend your Welcome Dinner.

Day 2

This morning’s unique People to People Broadway workshop will be delivered by a Broadway expert, someone who knows what it takes to be on stage in one of the most famous theater scenes in the world. In the afternoon, you’ll go on a guided visit to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.  In the evening, you’ll see a show on Broadway.

Day 3

This morning is a unique opportunity to visit the United Nations, an intergovernmental organization developed to create and maintain international cooperation and order. Tonight, you’ll board your international flight to London.

Welcome to London

Day 4

Touch down in the United Kingdom. It’s time to head into London for a special orientation of the city. You’ll get the chance to see iconic landmarks like Tower Bridge, The Houses of Parliament, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. Tonight, hop on the Coca-Cola London Eye for a bird’s eye view of the city.

Day 5

Study alongside talented peers from The BRIT School, alma mater of  Adele. You’ll be escorted around this world famous school by current students and have the chance to visit their dance and recording studios. Following lunch, head over to the Tower of London, home to the Crown Jewels and over a thousand years of fascinating history. Top off a truly exciting day with a West End theater show, the British equivalent of Broadway.

Day 6

Spend the morning exploring London and taking in all the highlights including the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Watch on as the iconic performance from the Queen’s Guard unfolds in front of your eyes. This afternoon visit The Globe Theatre and take part in a Shakespearean acting workshop.

Day 7

Step onto authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore behind the scenes secrets of the Harry Potter series at the Warner Bros Studios where all eight films were brought to life. This afternoon, travel to Warwick and go back in time at a specially arranged People to People medieval encampment and re-enactment at Warwick Castle. This includes lessons in sword fighting, archery and knight training, and ends with firing the largest catapult in the world!

From Oxford to Cardiff

Day 8

Explore the university city of Oxford, famous not only for being one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the world, but also as a film location for movies such as X-Men, The Italian Job and Harry Potter. To really appreciate the Harry Potter connection with Oxford, take a chance to visit the Great Hall of Christchurch College. This afternoon moves from big screen to small screen as you visit the Doctor Who experience in Cardiff, Wales.

Day 9

Travel through the rolling hills of the Welsh countryside before taking a tranquil cruise across the Irish Sea. Enjoy some leisure time on the picturesque Curracloe Beach which you may recognize from the movie Saving Private Ryan. Soak up a little sun and gaze out over stunning countryside views in one direction, and seascapes in the other.

Travel north to Ireland’s capital, Dublin, and visit a variety of film locations learning about the history of this amazing city along the way. Listen to enthusiastic storytellers share anecdotes of the filming process for a fascinating insight into the industry. Visit Trinity College and marvel at the ancient, world famous Book of Kells. This illuminated manuscript contains the four Gospels of the New Testament and dates back 1,200 years. Meet your homestay family for the next few days, which will give you an authentic taste of Irish life.

Day 11

Explore Kilmainham Gaol, one of the largest unoccupied gaols in Europe and pivotal in Ireland’s turbulent history. As a former prison, its history is infamous, particularly during the events of the Anglo-Irish War of 1919-21. After stopping for lunch, head to Croke Park Stadium. This iconic sporting venue is home of the Gaelic Athletic Association, where you can learn all about the importance of the Irish National Games and their place in Irish culture and politics.

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge

Day 13

Take a hike along some of Ireland’s most stunning costal trails, culminating in a visit to the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge which sits 90 feet above the sea and offers spectacular views of the surrounding area. There’s plenty of wildlife to spot as it is home to seabirds, basking sharks, dolphins and porpoises.  After lunch, follow in the footsteps of Giant Finn McCool at the amazing Giant’s Causeway. The breath-taking result of an ancient volcanic eruption, discover 40,000 interlocking basalt columns and the very tip of the country looking out over the sea.

Bid goodbye to Belfast and enjoy some quality time at Strangford Lough, the largest sea inlet in the British Isles. It is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and is also the location for Rob Stark’s Camp in Game of Thrones. Visit the Gothic and eccentric Castle Ward, also featured in Game of Thrones, before traveling on to Dublin to celebrate the last night of your trip in a traditional Irish fashion. Swap stories from your time spent on these beautiful Isles while indulging in some of Ireland’s famous entertainment.
