This is your chance to see history come to life as you fire the world’s largest trebuchet and learn to swordfight.

Exclusive access to a former Member of Parliament

Go behind the scenes of Parliament in London as you meet a former Member of British Parliament. This immersive experience will allow you to ask questions directly to the expert as your group discusses the current challenges faced by the UK and European governments about the impact of Brexit and the UK leaving the European Union.

BRIT School of Performing Arts

Study alongside talented peers from the BRIT School, the London institution that produced the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse and Jessie J. Explore Kilmainham Gaol, one of the largest unoccupied gaols in Europe, which played a pivotal in Irelands turbulent history. As a former prison, its history is infamous, particularly during the events of the Anglo-Irish War of 1919-21. Experience the beauty and brilliance of nature with a visit to the Marble Arch Caves. This ‘miracle of nature’ lies at the foothills of Cuilcagh Mountain, where an incredible subterranean world awaits. You’ll be guided through a fascinating natural underworld of rivers, waterfalls, winding passages and lofty chambers while stunning limestone cave formations glisten all around.

Outdoor and Leadership

Enjoy the raw adrenaline and exhilaration of coasteering. This thrilling activity combines a blend of rock-hopping, shore-scrambling, wave swell-riding and cave-exploring into one white knuckle fright designed to push your limits.   • DAYS 1-2

    Welcome to England
    Depart the USA on your adventure of a lifetime. Get to know your likeminded traveling companions and experienced guides as you jet across the Atlantic.
    Touch down in the United Kingdom and take in those all-important first impressions before settling down for a good night’s rest. You’ll need it, as you have an action packed two weeks ahead of you visiting famous landmarks, ancient cities, and above all the iconic locations of many film and television shows.

    Following a meet and greet with your local guide, it’s time to head out into London for a special orientation of the city. During an in-depth whirlwind tour of the very best of London you’ll get the chance to see iconic landmarks like Tower Bridge, The Houses of Parliament, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square.
    Following your first taste of British cuisine, hop on the Coca-Cola London Eye for a bird’s eye view of the capital. Gaze out over the city from the famous big wheel as you take in stunning panoramas that stretch for as far as the eye can see. Take it all in over dinner, as you sit back and relax with your new friends.

    BRIT School of Performing Arts
    Study alongside talented peers from the school that produced the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse and Jessie J. People to People’s unique access to exclusive moments is what makes this a truly exceptional experience. You’ll be escorted around the world famous school by current students while marvelling at their dance and recording studios.
    Following lunch, head over to the Tower of London, home to the Crown Jewels and over a thousand years of fascinating history. Top off a truly exciting day with a West End theater show, the British equivalent of Broadway!
  • DAY 4

    Leaders of London
    Spend the morning exploring London and taking in all the highlights including the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Watch on as the iconic performance from the Queen’s Guard unfolds in front of your eyes.
    Go behind the scenes of one of the oldest parliaments in the world as you meet a former Member of British Parliament. This truly immersive experience will allow you to ask questions directly to the expert as your group discusses the current challenges faced by the UK and European governments surrounding the impact of Brexit.

    Myths and Magic
    Step onto authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the behind the scenes secrets of the Harry Potter series at the Warner Bros Studios where all eight films were brought to life.
    After arriving in Warwick, go back in time at a specially arranged People to People medieval encampment and re-enactment at Warwick Castle. This includes lessons in sword fighting, archery and knight training, and ends with firing the largest catapult in the world!

  • DAY 6

    A Helping Hand
    Explore the university city of Oxford, famous not only for being one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the world, but also as a film location for movies such as X-Men, The Italian Job and Harry Potter! To really appreciate the ‘City of Dreaming Spires’ climb the Carfax Tower for incredible views of its picturesque surroundings.
    During a truly eye-opening experience, meet with vulnerable members of society, and the people working hard to help them. Spend the afternoon contributing to the vital work being carried out by the team. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact in the local community.

  • DAY 7

    Picture Perfect Scenes
    Travel through the rolling hills and pretty fields of the scenic Welsh countryside before taking a tranquil cruise across the Irish Sea. Bid goodbye to Britain (for now) as you arrive in Southern Ireland to continue your whirlwind backstage tour.
    Enjoy some leisure time on the picturesque Curracloe Beach which you may recognize from the hugely successful Saving Private Ryan movie. Soak up a little sun and gaze out over stunning countryside views in one direction, and seascapes in the other.

  • DAY 8

    The Delights of Dublin
    Travel north to Ireland’s capital, Dublin, and visit a variety of film locations learning about the history of this amazing city along the way. Listen to enthusiastic story tellers share anecdotes of the filming process for a fascinating insight into the industry.
    Visit Trinity College, where many classic movies were filmed, including the Michael Caine fan favourite ‘Educating Rita’. Marvel at the ancient, world famous Book of Kells. This illuminated manuscript contains the four Gospels of the New Testament and dates back 1,200 years. Meet your homestay family for the next few days, offering an authentic taste of Irish life.

  • DAY 9

    Connections Through Sport

    Life’s a Beach
    Visit the Walls of Derry, built in the 17th Century, which are a striking testament to the history of this city central to Northern Ireland’s politics. Climb up ramparts and take in an elevated view of your surroundings before exploring some of the city’s turbulent religious and political past.
    Explore Downhill Beach, which Game of Thrones fans will recognise as Dragonstone. As one of the longest beaches in Northern Ireland, it is truly a sight to behold. Explore the features that made it the recipient of the European Blue Flag and Seaside Award.

  • DAY 12

    Calling all Adrenaline Junkies!
    Enjoy the raw adrenaline and exhilaration of coasteering. This thrilling activity combines a blend of rock-hopping, shore-scrambling, wave swell-riding and cave-exploring into one white knuckle fright designed to push your limits, your confidence will soar after this!
    Test yourself like never before, both physically and mentally, as you build assurance and team working skills with your traveling companions. Under expert guidance, master the art of coasteering, while snapping a few photos along the way, as you experience an adventure you’re never likely to forget!

  • DAY 13

    In the Footsteps of Giants
    Take a hike along some of Ireland’s most stunning costal trails, culminating in a visit to the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge which sits 90 feet above the sea and offers spectacular (if a little frightening) views of the surrounding area. There’s plenty of wildlife to spot as it is home to seabirds, basking sharks, dolphins and porpoises.
    After lunch, follow in the footsteps of Giant Finn McCool at the amazing Giant’s Causeway. The breath-taking result of an ancient volcanic eruption, discover 40,000 interlocking basalt columns and the very tip of the country looking out over the sea.

  • DAY 14

    A Titanic Experience
    Explore Belfast with an experienced local guide and marvel at the world famous city murals. Visit Crumlin Road Gaol before heading to the Titanic Experience. This museum and monument to Belfast’s maritime heritage explores one of the most captivating stories of all time.
    Meet young locals and learn about Northern Ireland’s historic road to peace during an insightful interactive lecture. This evening is designed to spread understanding of the importance of global peace focusing on fostering a real acceptance of cultural differences.

  • DAY 15

    Storming Gothic Castles
    Bid goodbye to Belfast and enjoy some quality time at Strangford Lough, the largest sea inlet in the British Isles. It is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and is also the location for Rob Stark’s Camp in Game of Thrones.
    Visit the Gothic and eccentric Castle Ward, also featured in Game of Thrones, before travelling on to Dublin to celebrate the last night of your trip in a traditional Irish fashion. Swap stories from your time spent on these beautiful Isles while indulging in some of Ireland’s famous entertainment.

  • DAY 16

    Farewell!
    Depart for the USA from the trip of a lifetime, taking back memories of movies and classic television shows that will make you the envy of everyone at home. Most importantly, return with new skills and knowledge as well as a whole host of new-found friends.
