Celtic Cultures: England, Scotland and Ireland
Autumn is from Atlanta, GA and for the past 18 years has taught music at a public school outside of Atlanta. She has a Bachelor of Music Education from Berry College and a Masters of Education from Troy State University. When she first traveled overseas to Germany in the 5th grade, just after the fall of the Berlin Wall, she officially caught the travel bug. In college, she completed her student teaching at a British primary school in London. Autumn has been a leader with People to People since 2004, and has led programs to Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, England, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Monaco, The Netherlands, Scotland, and Switzerland.
“As a Delegation Leader, I can say without a doubt that I am proud to be part of this organization. Each program has been an incredible journey with a unique blend of students who become family during our time together. These itineraries go beyond typical tourist attractions. On my most recent program, students did everything from participating in a high stakes ropes course and riding an Alpine coaster to making cheese to learning how Dutch clogs are made and singing at an Austrian retirement home. The most impactful and favorite part is always the homestay when students live with a local family for a few days. I hope to be part of the People to People community for many years to come!” – Autumn G.
