Meet The Leaders
Jessica is from Chicago, IL and has a BA from Illinois State University. She always knew she wanted to be a teacher and she loves designing engaging interactive experiences for her students to develop a passion for learning. At her school, she is the Technology Leader and received two grants to incorporate 3D printing and Virtual Reality experiences in her classroom. Jessica’s first international experience was studying abroad in Florence, Italy and this is where she realized the power of travel. She has led two People to People programs to Europe and loves helping students experience and understand so many cultures, historical events, and helping them to overcome any personal challenges! Jessica s currently working to become a National Geographic Certified Educator. Apart from school, she enjoys being active outside, watching the Chicago Cubs, and spending time with friends and family.

Ashley is from Bellmore, NY and has a BS in Childhood Education from The State University of New York at Cortland and a Masters of Science in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (K-12) from Hofstra University. She is currently teaching High School English as a Second Language (ESL) to International Students from China, South Korea, Spain, Russia, Vietnam, and Thailand, grades 9-12, at a private school on Long Island, NY. Ashley also coaches Junior Varsity Soccer in the Fall, and Varsity Badminton in the Spring. Ashley also runs after school review classes for the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) test, to help students attend Universities in the United States after High School. As a sophomore in college, Ashley studied abroad at the University of Ghana, West Africa. From there she volunteered in Oahu, Hawaii, with thirteen other teenagers from the United States and later taught English at an orphanage in San Jose, Costa Rica. She has also travelled to Cyprus, Israel, The Netherlands, Belgium, Central America, and all through the Caribbean. Ashley loves going to the beach and staying active through working out, bike riding, and going for runs. She loves all music and movies, and have a passion for learning new languages.
