  • Day 1

    Continent to Continent— America to Africa
    Depart the USA and head for Cape Town on the southern tip of the African continent.
  • Day 2

    Arrive in Cape Town
    Arrive at the foot of one of the most famous mountains in the world, the aptly named Table Mountain. Take a cable car to the top of the mountain and enjoy a 360 degree view of the Cape Town area. Spend the evening enjoying a welcome dinner with interactive Djembe Drumming.
  • Day 3

    The Penguins and The Seal Island Cruise
    Drive out to Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town, famous for its Penguin Colony. After watching these playful creatures in their natural habitat, continue on a scenic drive around Chapman’s Peak.
  • Day 4-5

    Contributing to Cape Town Communities
    Take a tour of Robben Island guided by former inmates of the notorious prison where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated. Spend the remainder of your time in Cape Town working on community projects.
  • Day 6

    Fynbos and Ostritches in Oudshoorn
    Travel along the scenic Route 62 through rolling hills and plains, covered in the indigenous fynbos plants for which South Africa is so famous. Visit an Ostrich farm and the Cango Caves.
  • Day 7

    Meerkats and Game Drives
    Enjoy a Sunrise Meerkat Safari to discover these charming and endearing creatures before heading to a Crocodile and Cheetah Wildlife Ranch. During the afternoon head to a Game Lodge to enjoy an open vehicle game drive led by experienced guides.
  • Day 8

    Exploring Knysna
    After taking part in a local Eco Excursion head to the Rastafarian Community Outreach Centre. This is an eye-opening experience in which the centre leaders will introduce you to their uplifting gardens and the rehabilitating nature of their work. Spend the afternoon helping with one of their many outreach projects.
  • Day 9

    Johannesburg
    Fly from Garden Route to Johannesburg and set off on an orientation of a truly diverse city. Stop at the Apartheid Museum for an introduction to this influential period in South Africa’s history.
  • Day 10

    Soweto Township
    Head to Soweto for a bicycle tour through this fascinating township. Your guide will introduce you to the historical landmarks and will share anecdotes of student uprisings. Discover the former home of Nelson Mandela and current home of Bishop Desmond Tutu.
  • Day 11

    The Big 5 in The Kruger National Park
    Spend today exploring Kruger National Park, one of the most famous game reserves in the world. Travel in opentop vehicles with highly knowledgable and experienced rangers.
  • Day 12

    White Water Rafting and Elephant Whispering!
    Spend the morning white water rafting. Manoeuvre your raft along the river whilst spotting fish and bird life in the lush surrounding vegetation. During the afternoon, interact with elephants with the help of experienced handlers.
  • Day 13

    God’s Window to Johannesburg
    Choose between Jane Goodall’s Chimpanzee Eden or the Cheetah breeding project for a final exposure to Africa’s amazing wildlife. Following this, take the scenic panorama route from Mpumalanga to Johannesburg for your final night’s entertainment.
  • Day 14

    Goodbye Africa
    Soar over Johannesburg as you return home with a wealth of astonishing memories and experiences under your belt.
