Day 3
Be guided through the historic city of Madrid by Spanish students. This unique intercultural activity will enable you to explore like a local, including making a visit to the world-renowned Prado Museum. Make friends with your guides as you shop for mementos.

Day 4
Travel to Toledo, known as the “Imperial City” for having been the main venue of the court of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor, and as the “City of the Three Cultures” for the cultural influences of Christians, Muslims and Jews reflected in its history. Visit the famous Cathedral, before heading to Granada.

Day 5
Visit the jewel of Granada–The Alhambra. Constructed in AD 889 and originally constructed as a small fortress before being renovated and rebuilt into the beautiful palace you see today.

Cordoba, Spain
La Mezquita
Day 6
This morning we’ll travel to Cordoba. You will be joined by a local guide who will take you on a tour of the city. An old Roman city that was latterly colonized by The Moors. Cordoba is graced by a number of buildings of religious significance. La Mezquita is the most iconic, it is also regarded as one of the most accomplished monuments of Moorish architecture. La Mezquita is unusual in that you will find a Roman Catholic church in the middle of a Mosque.

This morning board a high-speed train to Barcelona. Later, meet your Spanish homestay family and be immersed in the traditional Spanish way of life. Your homestay family is carefully selected, based on matching you with peers your own age and with activities designed to provide you with the most authentic experience possible. Eat regional foods, meet local students, and see the real Spain during this unique People to People moment.
