Day 2
Touch down this morning in Paris, a city of unbeatable food, art, music, and history. Visit the picturesque hillside neighborhood of Montmartre. The area is famous for its local artists, and you’ll have the exclusive opportunity to meet with one of them, getting a firsthand glimpse into the celebrated world of Parisian art. After dinner later, head up to the top of the iconic Eiffel Tower, for an amazing view of the City of Lights.

The Local Perspective
Day 3
Visit Notre Dame Cathedral and learn about one of the world’s greatest masterpieces, The Rose Windows. Later, get a tour of the city from Parisian students. They’ll show you some of their favorite spots in their hometown along with the big must-see sights. Afterwards, visit the Louvre Museum, taking plenty of time to soak it all in. The museum was once a palace, and today it’s filled with a huge collection of priceless works of art, including the one and only Mona Lisa.

A Royal Experience
Day 4
Visit the one-of-a-kind Palace of Versailles, a magnificent retreat where French royalty basked in their extravagant lifestyle in the decades leading up to the French Revolution. Learn the riveting history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, as you walk through the royal apartments, see the famous Hall of Mirrors, and explore the expansive gardens outside. Later, hop on a train to Provence.

Day 5-7
Explore the beautiful city of Avignon, where you will visit The Palace of Popes, the largest Gothic palace in all of Europe. Later, meet your French homestay family and be immersed in the traditional southern French way of life for the next two days. Your homestay family is carefully selected, based on matching you with peers your own age and with activities designed to provide you with the most authentic experience possible. Eat regional foods, meet local students, and see the real France during this unique People to People moment.

Day 8
Enjoy some relaxation on the French Riviera, and explore the seaside cities of Nice and Cannes and have some down-time on the beach. Later, feast on authentic French BBQ with an array of local delicacies as you learn French outdoor games with your new French friends!

Day 9
Go celebrity-spotting during a tour of Monaco, notable for its royal family and world-renowned Grand Prix racetrack. Visit the celebrated L’Usine Laboratoire of Fragonard and learn about the science and art behind the production of perfume. Return to Nice and stroll the Promenade des Anglais before your farewell dinner.
