“I am looking forward to getting to know all the students on this trip and sharing my love of culture and history with them. I am excited to show them places I’ve been to and experiencing some of the new places I haven’t been to together.”
Davis is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He studied at Louisiana State University and has been teaching for many years. He currently works with Autistic students. This year will be his thirteenth People to People program and he is so thrilled to meet the students on this year’s program. Davis has traveled to thirty-one countries! He is an avid photographer, is an organist and pianist for his Parish, participates in theatre productions, and loves cheering on LSU sports teams.
“My favorite moments always come when I see the students interacting with people they meet on program. All sense of distance and cultural differences melt away, and the similarities of just being a young adult come forward, and they always just have fun together and learn about each other! I always most look forward to the Homestay, where we get the most authentic cultural experience possible – living in a family’s home!”
