“I am so excited to be a part of this program because of the students. Traveling with students lets me see the world through their eyes and that is very rewarding. I will always encourage the students and will be taking a lot of pictures to share with the families. I’m the person who always has a camera in hand!”
Tammy is from Henderson, Nevada. She studied at Indiana University for her undergraduate degree before going on to pursue her graduate degree at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas. She has been a teacher for twenty years. She is currently teaching a gifted and talented program. “I am most looking forward to guiding our students along as they experience many ‘firsts’ in their lives. In my teaching career, my students are always on the forefront of everything I do. As educators, we are here to not only educate our students in the curriculum we teach, but we are also here to help our students become productive citizens of the world. I am excited to extend that learning to more and more students through the People to People program.”
