Student Ambassadors are interested in seeing the world, in challenging themselves to grow, in experiencing local customs, in meeting their international peers, and most of all, in taking their place in a global society.
We believe in making international travel accessible; however, not every student is ready for the responsibilities of international travel.

Are you interested in traveling with local students and leaders to a foreign land? Or perhaps there is a specific exciting destination that interests you? Need some help? Our knowledgeable enrollment coordinators are available to assist you in identifying which international experience is right for you.

You can apply to travel as a Student Ambassador in the following ways:
Please be aware that we require a $400 deposit at the time of application. Space on a People to People Ambassador program is limited to ensure the best and safest travel experience for each student. The deposit helps reserve your space during the interview process and is credited to your account upon acceptance. Should you wish to withdraw, all of the deposit is returned as long as your request is made within the precommunicated timeline.
Once a student has been accepted, he or she will take part in special, pre-travel preparation called orientation meetings. These meetings encourage the members of each Student Ambassador program, along with their parents, to interact and form bonds before they leave the country. orientation meetings can be offered both in-person and online and are the perfect opportunity for leaders to educate their students on:
During this time, the students will also complete specific assignments designed to increase the learning opportunities. The Student Ambassador program experience begins months before a student ever gets on a plane. This is an educational journey that begins the moment you apply.
