- Experience Antarctica during its summer, when it explodes with wildlife including penguins, seals, seabirds, and whales.
- Navigate icebergs on an ice-rated expedition vessel specially designed for the safety and comfort of its passengers.
- Sail the most remote shores of Antarctica using Zodiac boats, the most practical boats of their kind in the world.

- Explore Port Lockroy, a former base maintained by the government of the British Antarctic Territory.

Ushuaia, Argentina
- Hike in Tierra del Fuego National Park, taking in the spectacular landscape spanning mountains and coastlines.
- Get acquainted with the steel-hulled vessel that will be your home for two weeks, and learn the rules for ship safety.
- Meet your team of researchers, experts, and explorers who will be your shipmates for this exciting program.
Drake Passage
- Cross this bridge to the Antarctic that also marks the division between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
- Glimpse impressive animals from whales to wandering albatrosses, whose wings can span 12 feet.
Antarctica
- Step onto land (or ice) as your smaller Zodiac craft docks at sites like the South Shetland Islands and Paradise Bay.
- Enjoy the antics of chinstrap and gentoo penguins illuminated by the 24-hour daylight.
- Learn to identify whales in the wild, including blue, sperm, minke, and humpback species.
- Observe and study the effects that global warming has had on this remote environment and ecosystem.
- Climb onto a small ice cap in Neko Harbor for an incredible view of Andvord Bay.
- Visit the living museum and former base of Port Lockroy, where you can post a letter home from Antarctica.
- Test your bravery by taking a polar plunge on Deception Island.
