Day 1 – Orientation
- Proceed through registration at Stanford University, one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions and an Ivy League university.
- Enjoy the welcome barbecue and opening address.
- Find out more about the history of People to People Ambassador Programs, and get to know the staff who will be guiding you through the program.
- Hear from a special guest speaker.
Day 2 – Technology in the 21st century
- Hear from a guest speaker about technology in today's world.
- Tour Stanford University's campus and get a feel for what it would be like to study at this Ivy League university.
- Hear from a guest speaker about the future of digital music.
- Hear from a guest speaker about energy sustainability and emerging solar technology.
- Begin your robotics project.
- Engage in student leadership meetings.
Day 3 – The mobile world
- Visit Stanford University's amazing Nanotechnology Labs.
- Participate in an exclusive Personalization and Privacy Workshop with Stanford Media X.
- Visit a top telecommunications company.
- Learn about the future of smart phones and high-speed data networks through a hands-on experience.
- Engage in student leadership meetings.
- Analyze a technology-themed movie and discuss its implications for the real world.
Day 4 – Challenge yourself and make a difference
- Interact on a local level through a hands-on community service project.
- Work effectively with your peers during a teambuilding challenge.
- Work on your robotics project.
- Engage in student leadership meetings.
Day 5 – San Francisco
- Explore iconic San Francisco landmarks like Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, Lombard, and Chinatown with knowledgeable city guides.
- Learn about the engineering behind the Golden Gate Bridge.
- Engage in student leadership meetings.
Day 6 – The future of technology
- Tour the Tech Museum of Innovation.
- Visit a top technology company.
- Visit the official, one-of-a-kind Apple Company Store on the Apple Cupertino campus.
- Visit the Intel Museum and learn about the evolution of the microprocessor.
- Work on your robotics project.
- Engage in student leadership meetings.
Day 7 – Industry leaders
- Learn from the best in the industry as you hear from speakers from companies such as Apple, Facebook, and Adobe.
- Work on your robotics project.
- Engage in student leadership meetings.
Day 8 – Your path to leadership
- Hear a keynote address from Roger Crouch, former astronaut and senior scientist for the International Space Station.
- Travel with Roger Crouch to a NASA site for an unbelievable educational experience.
- Get an edge on the college admissions process by hearing from a Stanford University college admissions advisor.
- Work on your robotics project.
- Have fun at an evening social event.
- Engage in student leadership meetings.
Day 9 – Unveil your project
- Make the final preparations for your robotics project.
- Present your final projects in an exhibition that includes former NASA astronaut Roger Crouch.
- Review your progress through credit evaluation with your teacher leader.
- Participate in a special closing celebration.
Day 10 – Farewell and departure
- During the early morning, bid farewell to your new friends.
- Greet your family or be transported via private shuttle to the airport.
