Leaders
Experienced, committed, energetic, dedicated—all are words that describe People to People teacher leaders. We rely on the expertise of educators who have been working with us for a long time: some for 20 years and many for 5 years. Their passion for education inspires participating Student Ambassadors on their People to People journeys.
Because People to People teacher leaders are responsible for the safety of delegates, they are required to be more than 21 years of age, to pass a background check and personal interview, and to have at least one year of classroom experience. They must also receive strong recommendations from their principals and/or superintendents. To learn more about our outstanding leadership, look at the following profiles of some of our Student Ambassador teacher leaders.

"They developed self-confidence that wouldn’t be possible if traveling with their families. They have to do things that they wouldn’t otherwise, from being responsible for the room key to exchanging foreign currency to managing an international calling card, which may require dialing 40 digits to get a call through."
