Elizabeth Clark, Ph.D., ACSW, MPH, delegation leader

Elizabeth Clark, Ph.D., ACSW, MPH, is the executive director of the National Association of Social Workers. She is also a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers and of the National Academies of Practice. She sits on the board of directors of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as well as the Action Network for Social Work Education and Research. She is the co-principal investigator of the National Study of Licensed Social Workers Project.

 

A few words from Dr. Clark:

The professional purpose of this delegation is for participants from both sides to exchange successful practice techniques, effective strategies, and innovative ideas about the profession and about social problems encountered.

Each Citizen Ambassador Program offers:

  • International airfare from a domestic gateway city
  • Accommodations in three- to four-star hotels
  • Admission to all activities specified in the itinerary for delegates or guests
  • Most meals, as specified in the itinerary
  • All in-country transportation for the group
  • Fees for all group services, including tips and taxes
  • Continuing education credit, where applicable
  • Pre-travel materials to aid in your preparation
  • 24-hour support from the program office

NOT INCLUDED: Airfare to/from the program's domestic gateway city, personal expenses, individual departure taxes (where applicable), and costs to obtain a passport (if needed).

*Delegates are automatically enrolled in supplemental Delegate Protection Plan insurance, providing benefits in case of job loss, trip delay or cancellation, and lost luggage. Delegates may decline this $345 coverage; details of the plan will be sent with the first billing statement.

Since this is an educational activity, the NASW CE Approval Program will be providing approximately 20.0 continuing education credits for this professional exchange.
